Choeur de clarinettes de Fribourg
Description
The ensemble brings together the entire instrumental family of clarinets and can be composed of up to six different types of clarinets, from the small E-flat clarinet to the contrabass clarinet. It exploits the instrument's full range of sounds and its agility. This formation can have a sound with great roundness and a unique sweetness and explore more acidic, muffled or mocking timbres. The repertoire of a clarinet ensemble covers transcriptions of classical works (from baroque to contemporary) as well as adaptations of film music, jazz works and dedicated creations.
